Behind VELKA, there's one person. Me.
My name is Aslan Tekin. I live in Charleroi, and I sell and install VELKA myself, for shopkeepers across the region.
I spent years working alongside independent shopkeepers — hairdressers, grocers, snack bars, garages — and I kept seeing the same problems come back: a slow register on a Saturday, VAT you're never quite sure about, a software provider you can't reach the moment something goes wrong, and the feeling of being locked in.
VELKA was born from that. A register that keeps things simple, that keeps running even without internet, that stays compliant with Belgian law, and above all: someone on the other end of the phone who knows your business and can come by if needed.
I'm not a sales team. When you request a demo, I'm the one who calls you back. When you get set up, I'm the one who comes in the morning. When your cashier has a question six months later, it's still me.
